Shea Butter - Shea butter has a vast number of proven healing properties stemming from its physical makeup of vitamin E, vitamin A and cinnamic acid to name a few. The skin becomes more evenly textured with a healthy "shine". And coconut oil will penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and strengthen the underlying tissues.
Jojoba Oil - My favorite oil!! Jojoba Oil is often referred to as one of nature’s most perfect conditioners and moisturizers. Centuries ago Native American Indians used jojoba oil to treat bruises, sores, cuts, and sunburn. Jojoba oil is a highly effective skin softener, conditioner, moisturizer, and cleanser for the hair and skin. Not only can Jojoba oil cleanse the skin but it has an anti-bacterial effect which destroys certain types of bacteria within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Studies on jojoba oil have even been shown to relieve the symptoms of psoriases and other skin diseases.
Lavender Essential Oil - Lavender is an herb that has been used for centuries as a healing agent. The scent sooths and calms, it is a natural antiseptic, antibiotic, and detoxifying agent. The vapor becomes the essential oil during the cooling stage. It has been used for nerves, migraines, headaches, tension, emotional stress, sore muscles or tense muscles. Other uses include benefits for the skin, immune and circulatory systems.
White Kaolin Clay - The mildest of all clays and suitable for sensitive skin. It helps to stimulate skin's circulation, at the same time gently exfoliates and cleanses. Kaolin Clay is high in calcium, silica, zinc and magnesium. It does not draw oils from the skin, so it can also be used on dry skin types without negative results. It helps heal blemishes and inflammations and prevents new ones from forming. It rejuvenates the skin and as with other clays, it removes dead skin cells and debris from the pores to bring about a smooth healthy glow.
Honey Powder - Honey powder is natural honey that has been spray dried into a fine powder. Honey is said to be a natural antiseptic due to its tendency to absorb the life-sustaining moisture out of bacterial cell walls. Honey attracts the dirt from skin pores and dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. It, therefore, is said to be a natural skin cleanser and softener.
Goat’s Milk Powder – Goat’s milk is a natural emollient that helps soothe and moisturize the skin. It contains vitamins A, B6, B12 and E. Goat’s milk has 3 times more beta-casein than cow’s milk. Coconut Milk Powder – Delivers skin moisturizing nutrients.
Colloidal Oatmeal - Has a long history in skin care and is well known for its soothing benefits. Oat proteins leave a protective barrier on the skin, which helps skin retain moisture and soothe itchy conditions.
